Mr Angelo Cianciosi has lived experience of physical disability and has been actively involved in the disability sector for more than 20 years. In this time he has worked as a Social Trainer and Human Resources Officer to name but a few positions.

Since 2010 he had been the President of the Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre and has volunteered with various organisations. He represents this agency on a range of committees and at high level government meetings where he is proactive in advocating for changes that will improve the lives of people with disabilities.

His work experience is supported by several qualifications: Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management; Bachelor of Social Science (Minor in Disability Studies); Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment; Certificates III & IV in Human Services.

Mr Cianciosi’s experience and knowledge with issues pertaining to both people who have disabilities and are culturally and linguistically diverse will enhance the broad knowledge base of the Council.
