Ms Wendy Dimer has experience in the delivery of services to Aboriginal people with a disability and has worked closely with staff from the Disability Services Commission in Kalgoorlie to improve services. She has direct experience as a carer of a person with a disability and has recent experience in the delivery of services to people with a disability outside the metropolitan area.

Ms Dimer has served on several reference and advisory groups relating to Aboriginal people with disability, Cerebral Palsy and other Aboriginal cultural matters. She is currently a member of a Community Reference Group where her role is to connect families of young people that have previously resided in Aged Care. The group’s main objective is to take the young Aboriginal people with disabilities from Aged Care facilities back to country.
